Oh! Oh! <dancing in my seat> I'm trying to get back int he saddle online, so to speak, and I missed this! I will send out my famous (locally, anyway) Turkey/Elk Spinach Meatball soup. I make this often for new mama's, and have been assured of it's amazing healing properties! <g>
I'm assuming it is all right for me to post links to everyone's blogs for the party? _________________ Blessings,

I bet that would be fine, K. You're certainly welcome to link to mine if you like.
On another note, any ideas for next month's theme? _________________ Rebecca Hartman

here are a couple ideas that come to mind:
-what herbs are you planning to grow next year? will there be new ones to try, the old tried and true, a mix, etc. any new gardening techniques or plans in the works? will you be introducing endangered herbs into your landscape or a nearby woods? who will you be ordering your seeds/plants from?
-wintertime herbal pick-me-ups (bath salts, creams, lotions, steams, butters for body as well as teas, elixirs and other brews for joy
that's all i can think of at the moment...
and k., you are welcome to link to mine as well. _________________ kristine brown

It might be interesting if we all blogged about the same plant -- I don't think we've done that yet.
Here are some winter possibilities:
Elder
Ginger
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
You know, we could blog about using common kitchen spices! I think that would be fun. A lot of people don't really know what a medicine chest they have in their spice cabinet... _________________ Rebecca Hartman
